Is wheel throwing as fun as it looks? You bet! In this 2.5hr long class, 6-week session, you will continue exploring more of the fundamentals of throwing pottery on the wheel, and enhance your throwing abiliy to make work you're proud of. Returning students are encouraged to sign up and take what they learned from their intial class to the next level. Begining students are also welcome to take this class, so long they understand the basics of centering clay, lifting walls, and glazing.
Projects, assignments and demos, such as off-the-hump throwing, lidded vessels, and double walled forms. will be given to help you suceed at any level. This class is intended for students who have taken a begining wheel class, or have skills equivalent to that class (being able to center clay). For this session, Nate Goldsman will be your instructor, so ask away about his teapots making process!
