Date Night
Ready for a dirty night out? Come on and get your hands in the mud! Couples, singles, beginners and experienced potters will have fun hand building with Fahad. Classes are just one evening and will cover different projects from week to week.
Nesting Objects
Nesting objects are separate, yet relating pieces. The concept goes beyond round stacked bowls, but we can make those too. Building one sculpture with multiple components isn’t going to be as hard as it sounds. For starters, think about how nicely the beans sit in an edamame shell.
Notes: Bring in your own ideas and we will problem solve together.
Tile Decorating
Learn Marina's amazing tile decorating techniques to achieve her signature mosaic look. The class will delve into image choice and manipulation, creating faux grout lines and a unique glazing technique.
Alternative Firing
As with so many processes, each step is crucial in achieving the desired result. Scott's 5 weeks course covers throwing the right forms and achieving the perfect surface before the final firing for optimal results. 3 weeks of throwing and 2 weeks of firing, this is an in depth class exploring raku, naked raku and saggar firing. All skill levels welcome.
Tile Making
Like the art of Chinese calligraphy, tile making is a deceptively difficult art requiring patience and precision. Learn from a master the making of tiles used for backsplashes, walls, art hangings, etc. Flat, box and bas relief tiles will be covered in class.
