Ceramica does not guarantee the results of custom glaze. Results are dependent on but not limited to: type and thickness of application, firing type and temperature, and clay body. We highly encourage you to test any new glaze on your clay before ordering a large quantity.
Ceramica does not ship glazes or materials.

Custom Glazes &
Dry Materials

  • Send your recipe to ceramica.nc@gmail.com. Include the recipe in weight or percentages (with the amount that you require in pounds or grams only). Provide a clear picture or text of your recipe.  We will then send you a quote. Pricing is variable for each glaze due to individual materials' cost.

  • A $10 flat fee is included in addition to price per pound.

  • There is a one-pound order minimum.

  • We require a 50% deposit before we begin mixing. We can safely take your credit card details over the phone.

  • Recipes are mixed dry only.  Adding water, mixing and sieving are the customer's responsibility.

  • Custom glazes will typically be ready for pickup within two business days after we receive the deposit.

CUSTOM GLAZE ORDERS

  • Require 24-hour notice.

  • One ounce order minimum for individual dry materials.

  • Once we receive an order, we will send you a quote with pricing. Materials will typically be ready for pickup within two business days.

  • When purchasing full bags of materials (typically 50 or 55 lbs) you will receive a 25% discount.
