Beginning Wheel with Matt, Tuesday Evenings

This class is suitable for beginning to intermediate students.

We will spend some time learning the basics of wheel throwing and building forms.   Design elements, construction methods, and surface treatments will be discussed based on student interest.

The class will have demonstrations for individuals and for the group with the goal of creating finished products.  Students will work at their own pace, and class direction will be flexible and taught at each individual's skill level.  Group demonstrations and instruction will be based on students’ interests and questions.

The class includes 12.5lbs. of clay, studio glazes and firing. Additional clay is available to purchase if needed.

Wear clothes that can get dirty.  Bring an apron and towel.  All basic tools will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own as well!

Participants must be at least 18 years old.
