Origami Bowls

Using slabs of clay, you will learn how to shape and decorate these unique creations that take clay from 2D slabs to personalized 3D forms. This workshop is great for all skill levels, including beginners and experienced potters.

In this class, you will be taught the process of how to design and create your own reusable templates. Each student will be able to take 2-3 reusable templates home. From there, you will then be shown how to use your template to create and shape your clay forms. During this process you will be taught a variety of ways to further personalize your form by applying stamps or textures to the clay. Lastly, you will be shown how to smooth out your work for a polished look.
