About the event
This class is suitable for beginner and intermediate students that have some experience.
We will spend our time advancing our skills on the wheel and building forms. Design elements, construction methods, and surface treatments will be discussed based on student interest. Interested in throwing larger pots or segmental throwing? Let's do it. Want to practive getting the most of of your clay and make very even walls? Let's do it! Chattering? Teapots? Ornaments? Bring it on.
The class will have demonstrations for individuals and for the group with the goal of creating finished products. Students will work at their own pace, and class direction will be flexible and taught at each individual's skill level. Group demonstrations and instruction will be based on students’ interests and questions.
The class includes 12.5lbs. of clay, studio glazes and firing. Additional clay is available to purchase if needed.
