Coil & Slab Planters with Michelle, Thursday PM

With summer approaching, it is the perfect time to create coil and slab planters for yourself or friends, with Michelle, you will be handbuilding and creating planters out of just coils . Please note that this is a 2.5hr class, and clay will be provided at the begining of the class, so don't miss day 1! You can always visit the store or call us during bussiness hours to inquire about clay for class before the class starts. You will learn the basics of handbuilding in this class, invovling techniques such as rolling coils, scoring and slipping, making a slab, and using tools specifically for handbuilding techniques. Week 1 and 2 will involve making planters out of coils, Week 3 will be slab planters, and Week 4 will be glazing.
