About the event
Is wheel throwing as fun as it looks? You bet! In this 6-week class, you will learn the fundamentals of throwing pottery on the wheel to start your journey with clay. You will have lots of fun in this 2.5hr class with Nate as your teacher, as he'll show you many basic techniques in a variety of ways! Glazing will be done during the last class, so don't miss it! Clay is provided, and you will be making at least a mug, a bowl, a plate, and one more thing that your creativity will conjure. You may want to bring an apron and a hand towel to stay tidy.
A 25 pound clay bag is included for the class, and you will get a choice of a Red or a white clay. Please note that this is a two and half hour long introductory class. Extra practice time will be allowed throughout the session. Click here to check out Nate's work on Instagram.
