Beginning/Intermediate Wheel, Thursday Studio 1

This class is suitable for beginner and intermediate students.

It is helpful but not required for students to have some experience on the wheel. 

We will learn the basics of wheel and hand-building and use this knowledge to modify wheel-thrown pieces using basic 3D shapes: sphere, cylinder, cone, and torus.

Students will be encouraged to experiment and be pushed out of their comfort zones.

The class will have demonstrations for individuals and groups to create unique finished products.  Students will work at their own pace, and class direction will be flexible and taught at each individual's skill level.  Group demonstrations and instruction will be based on students’ interests and questions.
