Beginning Handbuilding, Monday Evenings (Studio 2)

Explore the art of pottery through our 6-week beginners’ handbuilding class! This class will start off with learning/reviewing the basics of hand building with clay as you create your very own fairy garden home. After that, participants can continue to develop and create more of their own unique hand built pottery. This class will cover techniques for handbuilding with slabs and coils, as well as making unique surfaces designs and attachments. Our skilled instructor will guide you through each step, making this class perfect for those new to hand built pottery or for those who have some experience and want to further develop their abilities.

Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Students will be given one 2-hour session of open studio access per week, during hours the store is open.

12.5 lbs of studio clay will be provided during class.  Additional clay may also be purchased from the store.

Cancelation Policy

You may request to cancel your participation.

-Full Refund: up to 2 weeks before the start date of the class.

-Full Credit: Cancellations within 2 weeks of the class start date get a full credit towards a different date/time of the same class.

-50% Credit: Cancellation requests made within a week of the class date/time will receive 50% credit to be transferred to a different date/time of the same class.  

-Full refunds if you find someone to take your registration.

-When you register for a class, you agree to these terms. In the event that Ceramica must cancel this event, a full refund will be issued for the remaining portion of the class.
