Introduction to Handbuilt Pottery

Service Description

In this 6-week class, you will learn how to work with clay just using your hands! You will discover and master techniques invovling pinching, coiling, and slabing. You will create multiple pieces throughout the class with such techniques, and will you glaze them the last day of class, so don't miss that day! A 25 pound clay bag is included for the class, and you will be getting a choice of a Red clay, or a white clay. Please note that this is a two and half hour long class, and clay will be provided on Day 1 of the class.

Cancellation Policy

You may request to cancel your participation. Full Refund: up to 2 weeks before the start date of the class. Full Credit: Cancellations within 2 weeks of the class start date get a full credit towards a different date/time of the same class. 50% Credit: Cancellation requests made within a week of the class date/time will receive 50% credit to be transferred to a different date/time of the same class. Full refunds if you find someone to take your registration within 7 days before first day of class. When you register for a class, you agree to these terms. In the event that Ceramica must cancel the event, a full refund will be issued for the remaining portion of the class. Current students are allowed two extra hours per week for additional studio practice and are not allowed to make up unused hours from previous weeks. No guests are allowed that are not enrolled in a current class with Ceramica. Students must be at least 18 years old to participate in our classes and workshops, unless the class or workshop is specified for younger people.
