Raku-a-thon!
This is an open invitation for all studio members to come join in for a quick evening of Raku! This 3 hour session wil invovle firing together as a studio and have great fun time in the evening. Bring a friend to watch from a far (or safely close) and enjoy the wonderful colors of Raku!

About the event
Raku is a dramatic, fast, and exciting alternative firing technique! Red hot pieces are removed from the kiln and placed in a reduction chamber filled with combustible materials to create flashes of color in the glazes, and beautiful crackle effects embellished by the smoke in the reduction chamber.
This event is intended for studio members who have done a Raku firing before, glazes will be provided, so bring over your pots and let's have a nighttime raku firing!
