Daytime Handbuilding Intro with Michelle, Wednesdays

This morning class is both for beginners and returning potters who want to work with free form shapes in pottery.   In this 6-week class, you will learn the basics of handbuilding, from pinching, coiling, to slab building. Michelle will be your handbuilding instructor, and she will be guiding you through the creative process of freeform and handbuilt work. Please note that this is a 2.5hr class, and clay will be provided at the begining of the class, so don't miss day 1! You can always visit the store or call us during bussiness hours to inquire about clay for class before the class starts.

This class will involve creating handbuilt pieces throught multiple techniques, and will invovle learning basics of constructing, equipment usage such as the slab roller, extruder, and textures.  Glazing will be done during the last class, so don't miss it! Clay has to be purchased in the store. You may want to bring an apron and a handtowel.
